2025 promises to be a challenging year for Land O’ Lakes homeowners.
If you are considering selling your property, it is very important that you understand that recent top sale prices reflect upgrades that owners have completed to make their properties much more attractive to today’s well-informed buyers. Pricing your home properly to compete with these sales is crucial to your property value. Have you completed some upgrades? Are the floors and the counters in the kitchen and the bathrooms all original laminate and linoleum? If they are, a potential new owner will likely want to make a “low-ball” offer, so that they have enough of a margin to rationalize the necessary upgrades. In plain words, if your home has not been upgraded it is not likely that you will be able to ask for the lofty prices that owners of modernized homes have been getting.
